The CBS Sun Illustration was a class project focused on creating an themed sun to end the CBS News Sunday Morning show.
This illustration was tasked to us with the idea to create a unique and visually-appealing sun illustration that was themed to a certain topic. I decided to theme my sun to the style of Mediterranean tiles. I found individual tiles and used those to create a unique collage of patterns to make a background that allows the rays of sunshine to expand through all of the work.
