Rocky Top Commodities was a freelance logo design job that focused on taking the wild volunteer spirit and mixing it with a professional, industrial feel.
This project was my first graphic design job that I had the honor to work on. Rocky Top Commodities is a commodities trading branch located in Knoxville, TN. Being located in the heart of volunteer pride, they wanted to make sure that pride showed through the design, while still having a sleek feel. I combined the tri-star that appears on the Tennessee flag, with a stocks chart line to create the symbol seen in the logo. I used a signature orange that can be easily recognized by others.
