The KATSEYE Event Poster focused on having a fun, unique, and girly feel to play into the vibes of the mixed-nationality K-pop group.

This project was given in my Poster Design class, a class where we took digital design and made physical screen-printed posters. When I was deciding what to make for this poster, I bought a KATSEYE album and found a lot of design inspiration from it. The colors, photography, and typography in the album was very unique and it drove me to create a poster for them! I found inspiration for this design from junk journals and scrapbooking. I really wanted to capture a diary-like feel using the washi tape, sticky notes, doodles, and stickers. I used halftone to create the image of the group in the photo, and then layered different colors of the halftone to give it a almost iridescent effect.
